After starting at UAH in engineering and playing soccer on scholarship, the Lord showed me He had other plans for me.   My wife and I earned our master’s degrees in counseling from Denver Seminary, which brought us back to Huntsville where we both grew up.  

I believe that as a counselor, my job is to work myself out of a job.  There are principles that the Lord set in place that allow us to heal relationally, emotionally, and physiologically.  When we work within these principles (neuroplasticity, attachment, etc) the systems naturally start working the way they were designed to.  This is sustainable healing and growth.  It’s exciting to watch couples, individuals, and families heal and thrive.
